Before Jacobus Energy and Quick Fuel, there was Quickflash.  In the 1960s, Quickflash delivered heating oil to more than 30,000 homes using 30 trucks.  It remains the largest heating oil dealer in Southeastern Wisconsin! 

Today, Quickflash continues to serve thousands of active home heating oil customers through Southeastern and Central Wisconsin.  The company delivered more than 3 million gallons of fuel in 2014. Through the years, Quickflash has expanded into repairing and selling new furnaces, boilers and air conditioners.

The company was founded in 1919 when drivers delivered coal, lumber, and animal feed.  The name “Quickflash” was first used in the 1920’s.

For those familiar with Wauwatosa (a suburb of Milwaukee), the original office in Wauwatosa was donated to the city as a historical landmark.  Its next Quickflash office in Wauwatosa is now the home of Café Bavaria restaurant on State St. and Harwood.
